"You helped me see the light
when I was in a dark, dark place"

What's your story?

I was asked that question not too many years ago when I was going through my own major life transition, one that would take me from a life as a teacher and editor to this second chapter as a psychotherapist. I had heard the phrase many times in life but at that moment of change it resonated more deeply than ever before. Our lives are our stories, and they have chapters, episodes, plot twists...

You might be feeling your story is changing, maybe you've just experienced the whole plot unravelling. Maybe you're ready to start again. Maybe you're too tired and scared

to look at the next page. Sometimes it seems the world keeps turning while you are struggling and you just need someone to listen, help you slow it all down and figure out a plan. Whatever brought you to this moment is not the end, just a comma, a pause. And what is hurting you now is what will help you write the rest.

Anxiety, depression, fear, regret, disappointment, guilt, grief. These can feel like ending up in the loneliest places possible. But while your experience is yours alone, you are not alone. I would be honoured to work together and discover what comes next for you.

Every person, every story is welcome.

I use a mixture of Psychodynamic, CBT, EFT, ACT methodologies in our work together.
