"You helped me see the light
when I was in a dark, dark place"

About Michelle

Michelle Taggart, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Sometimes in life when we feel stuck, we need someone who will really listen to us and help us move through transitions and difficulties to find wellness again.

I know because I have been there too.

Together we will create a plan to help get you to where you would like to go. We would work collaboratively to make sure that your goals are being met to create the life that you want to live.

I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, inclusive, compassionate space so that you feel heard and valued whether you are wanting to gain new skills, move towards more alignment in your life, speak with someone who can be fully present with you, or work towards managing symptoms such as depression, anxiety, grief & loss, trauma, stress & overwhelm, life transitions to name a few.

I have spent nearly 10 years working with people who have been diagnosed with illness, and their caretakers including the process of all the transitions, changes, stress, anxiety, worry, and grief and loss. I also bring some additional life experience with me as I worked in the corporate world for over many years, am a mom and a wife.

The treatment modalities that I lean into are all person centered and include ACT (Acceptance & Commitment therapy), CFT (Compassion Focused therapy), Mindfulness skills, attachment theory, strength based, and somatic work. I often use an eclectic blend with my clients.

It would be a privilege to work with you as we journey together through all of life’s ups and downs.
